Center for Technology Management, Inc.

A Green Technology Organization

Center for Technology Management (CTM), is a registered corporation in the state of Delaware, engaged in research and development of advanced innovative products in “Green Technology” made in the USA.

Amongst the innovative products being developed by CTM are LED Lighting Systems, Solar Power applications, and air-transportable Disaster Shelters, using composite materials.

Major industries who can benefit from this technology and CTM's services are:

  • Lighting
  • Building
  • Educational

Lighting

Available products offered by CTM
  • Solar Powered Illuminated House Numbers
  • ¼” thick Light Panels – Illuminated Signs, Ceiling Lights, Lighted Photos
  • Lighted Mirrors
  • Low Profile Strip Lights
  • 360o Bulbs & Tubes
  • Solar Cells for Power
  • Solar Powered Water Heaters
  • Solar Panels & Flexible Solar Layers
CTM has developed unique smart bulb technology that can be operated with normal electricity as well as Solar, and remote on/off using its USB port. Applications may include emergency lights, lights at remote locations where access to electricity is limited, or refugee camps. Commercial applications include low profile light panels (¼” thick), used as illuminated displays and signs at desired sizes. Other applications include solar-powered house numbers, street and highway signs, and lighted mirrors.
LED lighting products fit into existing fixtures for ease of installation as a replacement or new lighting source. From lamps to floodlights to fluorescents to stadium lighting, the CTM solution saves energy and creates an efficient lighting environment. All CTM lighting products automatically convert from the incoming voltage to 12 volts, reducing the energy usage & cost.

Multi-Directional Global Bulbs that fit into most light fixtures and provide illumination equivalent to or greater than incandescent bulbs. They can be operated using solar energy, and work with most dimming devices.

Tubular lights, 2' & 4' long that can produce bi-directional light beams and fit in standard fluorescent fixtures. Unlike conventional tubular lightings, CTM Tubes are non-toxic, mercury free and do not need a ballast. CTM lights do not cause heat buildup and can help lower air conditioning costs.

Building

Modular Building Systems
There are two distinct types of structures designed by CTM:

1. Light Weight System; using Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) and foam core, mostly suitable for Disaster Shelters & Rapid deployment projects, or claddings on high-rise buildings.

2. Heavier System; using GFRC and perlite concrete core, suitable for more permanent type buildings – residential and/or commercial.

The following demonstrates the construction of a typical composite panel:

Comparison between the traditional panel constructions versus the CTM approach:
Type I “Modular Building Panels made of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) and Insulating Foam Board are lighter, esthetically pleasing, more durable and less expensive than alternate products.”

Composite panels introduced by CTM provides a structural light-weight panel with better insulation. It provides more flexibility in design, eliminates the need for using wood or reinforcing steel or added insulation. Buildings are erected much faster and less expensively.

Type II “Modular Building Panels made of GFRC and Perlite concrete/or Foam are lighter, esthetically pleasing, more durable and less expensive than plain concrete panels.”

Perlite provides a structural light-weight concrete – lower panel weight and better insulation. It provides more flexibility in design, eliminates the need for reinforcing steel or added insulation. Buildings are erected much faster and less expensively.

Educational

Advanced Educational System
CTM's proposed educational program is NOT delivering classical discipline of educational systems, leaving the graduates on-their-own after graduation! It is an integrated Object-Oriented Modular Educational and Training System, which encompasses using the existing educational institutes as much as possible, plus industrial or business training, to increase the US productivity by creating market potentials for the goods and services that affiliated industries can produce. The proposed program is differentiated from existing programs available in the US market by its Modular nature and its continued support system for recruits, without putting any financial burden on the government or students.
Establish a professional Educational & Technology Management Center, to serve as recruitment center for participating individuals and provide them with workforce training by combining academic values with internship programs to deliver skilled and experienced workforce to existing and expanding industries in any given region to increase productivity and hence, job creation on a long-term basis. This can be achieved by a cooperative program between different industries, local community colleges and respective universities in a given geological region.
